Leveraging IP to Protect & Scale Your Medtech Business

  • Medical Innovation Exchange 809 Wellington St N Unit 2 Kitchener, ON N2H 5L6 Canada (map)

The medtech industry is one that relies heavily on intellectual property (IP), so developing, managing, and protecting IP is critical for business success in today's global market. Medical Innovation Xchange and Ontario Intellectual Property (IPON) are excited to deliver an in-person event on how companies can leverage IP for commercialization and scale. Sought-after IP experts will share tips on how to go about securing IP at various businesses stages, while founders from Intellijoint Surgical Inc. and Hyivy Health will share their IP journeys, how it has helped their success and what they have learned along the way.

Attendees will also hear about IPON, a new agency created by the Government of Ontario that offers financial supports, IP education and mentorship programs for Ontario innovators and researchers in the medtech industry.
